However, I wanted to go round in order of publication and I ended up mixing the order slightly, although this doesn't matter too much. It’s quite simple to work your way round the exhibition, as it is organised with small sections devoted to each individual work that was published (books). I recommend this because it has a map on the inside and rear cover to help show you round. This is free, and they have ones in different languages. There was hand sanitizer on the entrance, and I recommend that you pick up a small guidebook from inside the exhibition before you start having a look around. I spent no more than 90s minutes looking around.

The museum is done up really well inside, although it’s not big.

I didn't do a lot of research before I visited, which meant the visit exceeded my expectations. I grew up watching some of the animated Moomin episodes during the 90s, which captured my interest and thought I'd make a visit - it certainly jogged quite a few memories of characters and places I had completely forgotten about.
