In Still Me, Lou has crossed the ocean to New York City-the first time she’s been to America. I live in NYC and think she did a stellar job of capturing its essence.ġ. I loved seeing her in a new environment and watching her become one with it. Louisa, in particular, felt so familiar, like a friend you’ve not seen for a while. As usual, in this story, her characters are very normal and real, you like them and want to find out what happens to them.
